Quilts Even though they are technically quilts (2-3 layers sewn together), I consider them fiber paintings. Many pieces incorporate paint or colored pencil. The lareger pieces are constructed only using fabric and thread only so that they can also be used as "bed art" or coverings.

I was trained in Art school as an abstract expressionist, but I was never satisfied with only color and texture. I needed to tell a story. The imagery make now is very satisfying in an illustrative way. I can tell a story in whole or in part. And because it is visual, it invites the viewer to fill in the details or finish the story themselves. I will be happy to e-mail photos of available work, or they can be ordered.
